• 3D owls, size maximum 6”, to hang on a tree.

In addition:

• “Mary’s Cushion Challenge” – completed cushions, priced, to sell for branch funds, any unsold cushions will be returned to maker(s).
• Any new embroidery worked since July 2012, either as a result of practical sessions at the Guild or elsewhere.
• Regional Competition entries will be collected as a group and also displayed.

If any member has any difficulty completing project, ie how to lace over card, how to present a piece, indeed any finishing off process, please bring to any session – and we will help.

Please bring items to May or June meetings, suitably labelled on back or 3D items with string tags on safety pins, with a named list and approximate value (for insurance purposes), don’t forget to add Regional competition pieces to list, even though they will be returned from region as a group. Please indicate on list any item to be considered for the annual Dorothy Theaker award for hand stitching., so we can have a blind judging of items marked by us.

Label/List - Information: Name, address (in brief), telephone no., email (optional), price - if you wish to sell, value for insurance purposes, and if to be included in Dorothy competition.

Cakes, biscuits and pastries
Please bring on the day.

Workshops, catering, stall manning and browsing aside, remember you can bring a little stitching to do on the day, a few chairs and the odd table will be available – for you to enjoy yourselves and let the visitors see what we do best!

On the day responsiblities are as follows:-
Jean – catering; Eilleen – traders; Mary – workshops; Helen – exhibits; Julie – sales and tombola.

You may well find us somewhere else, but we are each in charge of those areas. If you are not on rota for something it doesn’t mean you cannot help out! and talking with and helping visitors is vital, we hope to boost our membership, so give them a “business card”.

The event closes at 4pm. All exhibits must be collected immediately. Thank you.

Please contact any of sub-committee with queries:- Helen, Mary, Jean, Eilleen and Julie.
